L I sectional views are useful to understand the hollow interior of a piece. The first thing is to try to understand the geometry of it and its relation to the cutting plane. In case of doubt should make a sketch in perspective that helps your understanding.
The cut is drawn as if a broader view, taking into account not represent hidden lines and the sectioned part is scratched with auxiliary oblique and parallel lines.
Finally, the piece is bounded dividing the measures by providing views and dimensioning elements according to the criteria of standardization. In this case, being the views of scale 1:2, we must consider that measures provided will double the number that we measure on the views.
