Photovoltaic solar energy is a renewable energy types is increasingly being used more in Spain because of its performance and there are numerous grants to install this type of energy.
To install a photovoltaic system will need the following elements: solar
-Generator: is the set of photovoltaic panels that capture the sun's energy and transform it into electricity through a chemical process.
-accumulator, which is responsible for storing the energy produced by the generator.
-load regulator, is responsible for preventing overload or excessive shock produced by the generator that can cause irreversible damage.
-Investor: is an optional element, which converts alternating current in case we do not want to work continuously.
PV is a clean and quite profitable because does not need direct sunlight to operate the PV modules, it allows on cloudy days the PV system work due to diffuse radiation from the sun.
The application of this energy is very diverse, and can be used for all kinds of uses: rural electrification, housing, water supply to villages, water pumping / irrigation, livestock buildings, telecommunications ....
The only drawback to this type of energy is its high cost, as a facility that meets the needs of a family can cost over 30,000 euros each.
