Blonde Or Brown In Summer

SIMO

Economic crisis, a crisis of ideas in Hollywood, and now crisis in computer fairs ... The question for me is another. Everyone is blaming the cancellation of this edition of SIMO to the financial crisis, but is this true?

From my humble point of view, the answer is pretty clear. No. I've been a regular at the fair for several years, and in it I've seen all kinds of news. I liked that you could always go fiddling with a pileup new or see something you know. But that was then. With the spread that has Internet, and as Enrique Dans said in his blog , developments are becoming less. The only attraction could be fiddling with the gadget in question and see a presentation of exhibitors demonstrating the benefits of your product.

Year after year, SIMO has lost interest (I speak from my point of view), because every time we find less real news. The interest was beginning to be tender. Perhaps the limit was last year, where the only interesting thing was seeing the "bargains" found in different stores. In fact, the only production he gets from the last edition of SIMO was a 19 "a pretty cheap price. The rest was all already seen.

What has happened this year, honestly, could see. One year (specifically 2005), I was fortunate to attend the Computex exhibition in Taipei. Manufacturers really there, rather than presenting new, seeking business opportunities, something perhaps a bit forgotten in SIMO. You could talk directly with manufacturers, tell your needs, and they will offering solutions. In SIMO, with few exceptions, access to people who really know what they're talking about, was a job, at least complicated. For the record, I speak from personal experience, but for me, except in the case of small manufacturers who also attend SIMO, always has been. Hopefully

really give it another go to the fair by 2009. The fact is that this year was considering going to the ministry sound to see the possibility of buying a notebook there with some of the offers of speaking before, but hey, I guess I will resort to store a friend (or is , or this one, or many others that I left out), which always gives me more confidence.

PD-I feel the lack of post these days, but that I'm quite busy. For the record, I have not forgotten you, and hopefully increase the number of items soon.
